Dear Reader,
This should come to no shock to you, but the students of Collingwood Secondary are not all what they appear to be. A few are beyond human. Some howl at the moon while other fear the sun and suck blood of humans. They are the rulers of the night and they walk among you and I, as if they were humans themselves. Little did anyone know that there had been a war going on for over six hundred years between the werewolves and the vampires. Unfortunately, the humans were put right smack dab in the middle of it. Sometimes they get involved, getting bitten by a Vampire and becoming one themselves. Same thing could happen with the werewolves. Although most humans can not handle the gene and perish, some make it through and become vampires and werewolves themselves. The war was usually kept under wraps. However, one day the leader of the Vampires lost his life to the hands of a werewolf. That's when things got nasty. The war started to come up from underground and, deciding that their children may be safer in the human world, they sent their chldren to Collingwood Secondary. Now, they walk amongst one another, knowing about the hatred that they should have towards one another.
To add to this already horrid mix, fourteen students were gifted at birth. However, these gifts were soon to become their curses. The seven deadly sins; lust, wrath
Before I tell you, I will tell you the story behind the seven deadly sins. Collingwood used to be a mansion, which was home to a vampire, Count Vladislaus Dracula. Yes, he did exist. He was the first vampire of his time, erupting from the lava of a volcano. With Dracula, came the seven deadly sins. He kept them in trinkets which would be passed down from generation to generation. However, just in case these trinkets got lost, or shattered he made copies, keeping them in a vault. Unfortunatly, the good Count Vladislaus Dracula perished from a stake that was driven into his heart. He was murdered my a mortal girl by the name of Aleera Von Dutch, whom had stolen his icy heart and betrayed him. Once she had murdered him, she had found the trinkets and ran away with them. It wasn't long until she was hunted down and killed by a werewolf, finding the trinkets and taking them for his own. He gave them to his fellow werewolves as well as himself.
Soon after hearing about their rules death, the vampires set off in search of his body to burry him in a proper burial. Once they had reached the mansion in which he had lived and died in, they buried him.
During all of this, the vampires and the werewolves had been at a war, the were wolves now winning due to the powers of the seven deadly sins. It wasn't for one hundred and thirteen years later that the vampires had found the vault and, with it, the rest of the trinkets that held the seven deadly sins. Now, with both sides having the powers, the war was dead even, neither side being able to defeat one another.
Now, for me to tell you about what the powers do. These powers would do no good to mortals, but for werewolves or vampires, they mean the world. They allow the werewolves to control when they wish to actually become a werewolf and when they wish to be how ever much of a mortal they can be. For vampires, they allow them to walk out in day light and shapeshift, as well as such blood. They get the advantages that Dracula had before the vampire race collapsed and genetics became lesser.
So now the question is;
will the war carry on?
Or will it finally end?
Only you can decide,
Love,
Anonymous
