The sun is setting on the old world...
Lord Voldemort still lies in ruin, hiding in the dark shadows of the night. The boy who lived, Harry Potter, has evaded him, scorned the Dark Lord and thwarted his attempts at reclaiming the dark kingdom he had worked so hard for. In front of a crowd of onlookers, Harry Potter even killed him...or, at least removed him from his mortal body. Wretched was the thing that survived, twisted and tormented, his soul searched for a new place to reside. It was thanks to his faithful servant, Rodolphus Lestrange, who had survived the attack of the order(unlike his wife, Bellatrix), who had given the Dark Lord such a residence. An antique silver chest, made from the purest metals and wrought by the finest Goblin craftsmen,a final horcrux...where the Dark Lord would bide his time once more...
...but no suns shines on the new
The praised savior of the wizarding world, Harry Potter, is now older, and a parent as well. Marrying Ginny Weasley was probably one of the best decisions that he ever made, and the children that came from that marriage are quite the little hell raisers as well. The members of The Order, from Harry's period, all have children of their own now as well, and all are now students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Headmistress McGonagall now presides over the legendary school, and all seems well...there's just one thing...
Yes, you guessed it, Lord Voldemort still lives on. Though he is not even half of the being that he once was, his presence is still felt. The evil that he brought into the world still lingers, making it impossible for anyone to really live in true happiness. But how is this madness to come to a close? How is anyone supposed to carry on with their lives?
The answer lies within the silver chest, and can only be divulged with...
The Silver Key
